A Day at the Zoo

Last month Liam asked Mike if they had zoos in England. Saturday we spent the day at the Banham Zoo and had a great day! The zoo was out in the country and much larger than we expected. It's wonderful to visit a zoo that really takes care of their animals and respects their needs. All their enclosures were very large, all the animals had inside areas they could get into, and everything was spaced out. The animals must be pretty happy because there were lots of new additions.

Stonehenge

On Saturday we headed to Stonehenge. It may be ancient and mysterious but it wasn't worth the 6 hour round trip. The weather was perfect so it was nice to soak up the sunshine. If you are planning to come visit us, and would like to see Stonehenge while you are in the UK, you will need to take that trip solo. Been there, done that, don't want to do it again!

Adventure of the Day: Peterborough

One of the great things about working for the Government/Military are all the holidays and random days off. Today was "Family Day" and as a result, Mike is enjoying a three day weekend. Our adventures took us to Peterborough. The weather was absolutely fantastic. This post is extremely photo heavy. I took over 200 pictures today and there were so many beautiful ones I could only narrow it down to around 50'ish. I hope you enjoy the beauty of Spring.

Happy Easter

Sorry these are a little late. The Easter Bunny was very kind and Liam loved finding all the eggs the bunny left. Liam also made a huge step into being a big boy Easter Weekend. Aba (Liam's paci) went away and he took it surprisingly well. It only took two days for him to stop asking about it and as a result for a scooter!
