Imperial War Museum

Saturday was spent at the Imperial War Museum Duxford. Liam and Mike had visited a few months ago but only one of the buildings were open. Today we visited all but two. This museum is HUGE and is a must see in my opinion. The Normandy Experiance and the Battle of Britian exhibits were very interesting.

This AS6 wins the award for the most propellers!

This tiny thing was basically a foldable kite like helicopter used by German Subs. It folded up for storage and was towed behind the Sub. Everything's great till the captain determined they needed to dive. They would cut the kite loose...with the pilot! Don't think I would be volunteering for that position!
