Saturday is Market Day

Most cities and villages in England have a Market Day and Ely's big market day is Saturday. The weather was great this morning and the sun was shinning so we headed to the City Centre. Food, produce, fresh meat, crafts, antiques can be purchased. Our personal favourite is the donut guy. There's nothing better than the smell of fresh donuts but these taste even better than they smell.

There was a lady at the market today selling her Thai sauces, curries and dressing(Tuk Tuk Foods). Liam and Mike enjoyed sampling some of their tasty sauces. She was also making chicken stir fry with noodles and veggies and the smell was fantastic! I ended up circling back and getting some and it was delicious! She told me she also teaches cooking classes at her home and I am seriously thinking about checking out her classes.

Our Loot! Fresh juice, two cool vintage vases, chocolate cupcakes, daffodils, fresh soft goat's cheese with garlic, and some handmade lemon soap.
